Yes! It’s “Tis Herself.” it’s really a fabulous read, I know I’m kind ofbiased but Maureen really is a joy to read :)

Q:Hey! I have a question have you read Maureen's autobio? I found on a Marilyn Monroe site a part where it says Marilyn sent her a letter asking her to pop out of a box for Joe DiMaggio because he loved her and I wanted to make a post about it for my blog but I don't have the book and am not sure if it really says that. Thank you!

I have read it! Yes that is true, and if I remember correctly she was willing to do it for Marilyn but sadly a few days after she responded (or received the letter I can’t remember which) they filed for divorce :( If you wish, I can try to find the page number and send it to you :)

About

Avatar Dedicated to the "toughest Irish lass that ever took on Hollywood."

Born August 17, 1920, she is an Irish film actress and singer. The famously red-headed O'Hara has been noted for playing fiercely passionate heroines with a highly sensible attitude. She often worked with director John Ford and longtime friend John Wayne. Her autobiography, 'Tis Herself, was published in 2004.
